The Fall of Vorringia
ShadowbaneOur first major server war. Outnumbered 3-to-1, RoC held the gates of Vorringia against a coalition of guilds. The siege lasted hours. We lost the city but earned respect that defined us for years.
Hardcore PvP Since 2003
Forged in Shadowbane • Tempered Through a Decade of War
Rulers of Corruption was born in the fires of Shadowbane — a game that rewarded the ruthless and punished the weak. From our first city siege to our last server domination, RoC carved its name into every world we touched.
We didn't just play games. We conquered them.
Where it all began. RoC rose from the ashes of server politics to become one of the most feared guilds on the Vorringia and Braialla servers. City sieges, bane stones, territorial wars — we owned the map.
RoC brought its Shadowbane aggression to Tyria. GvG battles, Hall of Heroes, and Alliance warfare — a different kind of PvP, but the same relentless pressure.
A pure PvP arena game that attracted the hardest of the hardcore. Short-lived but intense — RoC was there from day one.
Action combat PvP with political intrigue. RoC adapted to TERA's Vanarch system and open-world battlegrounds, bringing old-school guild warfare to a new generation.
World vs World warfare on a massive scale. RoC organized zergs, ran havoc squads, and flipped keeps across the Mists. Server pride was everything.
Naval warfare, trade runs, castle sieges, and open-world piracy. ArcheAge was Shadowbane's spiritual successor and RoC thrived in the chaos. Territory control, pack runs, and ocean dominance.
The "Throne War" MMO built by Shadowbane veterans. RoC returned to its roots — campaign worlds, city building, siege warfare, and the eternal hunger. It felt like coming home.
Every guild has its legends. These are ours.
Our first major server war. Outnumbered 3-to-1, RoC held the gates of Vorringia against a coalition of guilds. The siege lasted hours. We lost the city but earned respect that defined us for years.
At our peak, RoC controlled more territory than any other guild on the server. Every city on that map was either ours, allied with us, or about to be baned.
RoC never forgot a betrayal. Entire campaigns were launched for the sole purpose of revenge. Cross-server, cross-game — if you crossed us, we'd find you.
From Shadowbane bane stones to ArcheAge castle sieges, RoC perfected the art of organized warfare. Timing, positioning, target calling — military precision in a video game.

Rulers of Corruption was founded in 2003 in Shadowbane — a game where cities could burn, loot was full, and the only law was strength. We didn't roleplay corruption. We were corruption.
Over two decades and seven games, RoC has maintained a core philosophy: fight hard, fight smart, never surrender. We're not the biggest guild. We're not the nicest. But when the siege horn sounds, you want us on your side.
The clan has evolved through MMOs that rose and fell, but the brotherhood forged in those early Shadowbane wars endures. Many of our members have been together for 20+ years.
